Mission Statement:

The object shall be to create interest in gardening in all its branches and encourage the beautification of homes and of the community. To interest and educate school children in the knowledge and preservation of the same.

 

A Volunteer Organization

The Dunbarton Garden Club is a volunteer organization. Members are encouraged to donate their time and effort in pursuit of the club's activities. Please consider participating in:

Hostessing a meeting in your home. Sign up at the December meeting each year.

Refreshments: Coordinate with Hospitality Committee to bring refreshments and/or food to at least one meeting per year.

Daffodil Sales: Participate in selling, promoting and packing daffodil sales during the annual Daffodils for Dunbarton campaign in August, September and October. DGC Goal: To actively work with the entire community to encourage planting of thousands of daffodil bulbs for the celebration of Dunbarton's 250th anniversary in 2015.

Raffle Donations: Provide new items to be raffled at town events, usually held Primary Day, Election Day, Old Home Days and other town-wide celebrations. Set-Up, Tear-Down, sell items and raffle tickets.

Town Common Maintenance April thru October Activities. (Times to be announced.) Weed, plant flowers, spread mulch, water, rake, general clean-up.
